Return Authorization

Merchandise may be returned for credit only upon authorization by Davis Equipment/Turfwerks. You must call the parts team to receive return authorization before sending part back. Upon authorization, merchandise must be returned freight prepaid within 30 days of purchase. All returned items must specify the invoice number and the date the items were purchased. Credit will be issued for the net invoice cost less all allowances, shipping charges, a handling charge and additional charges for any items not received in saleable condition. The final credit issued, in any event, will be subject to Davis Equipment/Turfwerks inspection to determine condition.

Damaged Shipments & Shortages

All damages must be reported within 15 days of receipt of package(s) for claim to be filed. The customer is responsible for carefully examining all shipments before signing a bill of lading or delivery sheet. If the customer detects any damage or shortage in the shipment, this damage or shortage must be recorded on the bill of lading, or the delivery sheet and the carrier's driver must sign and acknowledge this record. The customer must retain a copy of the signed bill of lading or delivery sheet and initiate a claim at once. The customer must retain any cartons, packages, or related data until an inspection has been made by the carrier.

Any claims involving concealed damage or shortage, or a wrong part received that are not reported within 10 days of the invoice will not be honored.

Restocking Fees

  • All parts returned within policy within 30 days: minimum 15% restock fee.
  • Parts over 30 days old from date of delivery cannot be returned, unless written consent is given by Davis Equipment/Turfwerks. All parts over 30 days from delivery date are subject to a minimum 25% restock fee.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable unless we ship a part that was not ordered (incorrect part).

Special Orders/Non-Returnable

  • Special order parts are non-returnable. Special order parts are defined by Davis Equipment/Turfwerks and include (but are not limited to) non-stocking parts, package quantity parts, electrical parts and any parts deemed non-returnable by the vendor.
  • Parts that have been installed are non-returnable. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Date stamped parts are non-returnable.
