The RGL Lightbars GPS guidance system helps you run straighter application swathsday or night, increasing your productivity and accuracy. The latest system has new features including new swath patterns, tilt compensation and better accuracy.
The revolutionary RGL Lightbars system includes a lightbar mounted on the hood or in the cab of the vehicle and a differential GPS receiver. Raven offers many GPS receiver options for guidance: RPR 110, RPR 210 and RPR 310. The RPR 110 receives WAAS only signal at a 5 Hz update rate (upgradeable to 10Hz). The RPR 210 receives Coast Guard Beacon and WAAS signal at a10 Hz update rate. The RPR 310 receives Omnistar, Coast Guard Beacon and WAAS signal at a 10 Hz update rate. The Raven RGL Lightbars lightbar can also be connected to most existing GPS receivers, reducing the need to purchase additional components the user may already own.
New swath types, accommodated by the RGL Lightbars system, include Contour and Curve Guidance, Center Pivot, Row Crop, Race Track, Squeeze and Double Headlands. The Tilt Compensation increases accuracy on hillsides and slopes dramatically. The new enhancements incorporated in this system expand an already impressive list of features including: parallel guidance with automatic swath advance, headland indication, area calculation and more.
RGL Lightbars is designed to be easy to program and use. Just mark the endpoints of the first swath and the system does the rest. A large easy-to-read display helps keep the operators focus in front of the machine to stay on course. Removable cables make it extremely portable and easy to move from machine to machine, making it an affordable option for many jobs in the field.
