Nelson Field Star Chassis components have an approved integrated off-road driveline system that includes electronically controlled engines, field proven transmissions, planetary reduction axles and high-strength frames. The driveline is engineered to operate dependably, productively, and efficiently in the field.

Diesel Engines
Both of the Field Star chassis’s have an advanced technology diesel powerplant.

• The Field Star 350 features a 350 hp International MaxxForce 10-in-line six cylinder, electronically controlled, diesel engine.
• The Field Star 410 features the 410 hp Cummins® ISM 425V diesel engine. This powerplant allows operators to cover more acres per hour with horsepower and torque to spare. It’s efficient, too, with one of the lowest fuel consumption rates in a 410 hp engine.

Transmissions

• The Field Star 350 features a five speed with overdrive Allison® 3000 RDS P automatic transmission. This proven workhorse offers five functional gears for optimum field speeds and operator efficiency during long hours of field application work.
• The Field Star 410 features an Allison 4000 five speed transmission coupled to a Fuller® AT1202 auxiliary transmission. This transmission system is designed to handle the power and torque of the ISM Cummins engine.

Drive Axles

• The Field Star 350 and 410 features a Meritor PRC- 673 rear axle with planetary hub reduction. This off-road axle has the carrying capacity and the speed reduction to place the engine operating range and transmission shift points at usable field speeds.
