| Fluent SmartLink NH3 Monitor |
 |
 |
A breakthrough wireless product that redefines the standard for Anhydrous Ammonia application. |
 |
The Fluent SmartLink is a wireless product consisting of two units: the Tank Unit and the Cab Unit. The Tank Unit clamps easily and securely to the existing gauge mechanism on the nurse tank and takes periodic fluid level measurements.
The Tank Unit then sends this fluid level data to the Cab Unit which is mounted within the tractor cab. The NH3 Monitor provides the user with, among other things, the current fluid level within the tank, the average application rate per acre and the amount of time remaining until the tank is empty.

How It Works
The Tank Unit simply clamps to the outside of the existing float gauge on the nurse tank. Installation requires no tools, no changes to the tank and no calibration its simply a matter of placing the unit on the top of the gauge and pulling a lever a procedure that takes only seconds.
From there, the NH3 Monitor does all the work. The Tank Unit works in conjunction with the existing float gauge to take fluid level measurements electromagnetically. The NH3 Monitor is a highly engineered product that utilizes microprocessors and sophisticated software to address issues such as fluid sloshing and uneven terrain in order to provide the user with correct information.
The system always outputs the fluid level inside the nurse tank. The user has the option to input the tank size and get two more pieces of information: Time remaining until tank empty and usage (lbs. of nitrogen dispensed). The user has also the option to input acres covered to obtain a verification of average application rate per acre.

The NH3 Monitor Provides Many Important
Benefits to the Applicator:
- Time Savings - The operator can conveniently and efficiently monitor the fluid level within the nurse tank without having to stop application and walk back all the way to the tank and do it manually.
- Improved Application Efficiency - Current information on the average application rate per acre allows errors in application rates to be identified and corrected much earlier in the application process.
- Safety - Remote monitoring of ammonia reduces the need of the user to be in close proximity to the dangerous chemical, which greatly reduces the chance of accidents and inhalation exposure.
